About Us

Our vision

Our Mission is to Motivate young women to embrace studies in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math fields. This vision will prepare our girls through hands on activities such as creating and producing a show and organizing a girls club using performance arts and double dutch. Role Models will demonstrate confidence and leadership by participating in team building exercises, playing games, and workshops. Her Majesty Girls will also organize an annual double dutch event. We will cultivate and prepare our girls by empowering them to conquer the world. Through theses services provided, we are preparing our young women to be educated, fearless, and confident, giving them a broader look at society. Giving them the tools they need to successfully maneuver through life.

My Story

Durning the mid 1980’s growing up in Southeast/ Northwest Washington DC I experienced childhood trauma. Being adopted and separated from my family, I felt a sense of abandonment and rejection from my parents. I endured more trials than triumphs growing up and attending different schools throughout the metropolitan area I experienced difficult transitions. I am proud to say I have overcome my upbringing and today I am a wife, business owner and mother of four beautiful children.

Although life is completely different from 20 years ago I feel my experiences can help today’s young inner city women evolve into strong confident women. This calling has inspired me to establish Her Majesty Girls (HMG) a non-profit organization created to give girls and young women a broader look at society. My goal is to help these future adults and empower them so they will be able to successfully maneuver through modern life. HMG will give them clarity on inner workings of the world we live in through locally available resources, we will inspire our girls to be Educated, Fearless, & Confident. Her Majesty Girls is a safe space where “Tweens become Queens”…..
